Top 10 Best Portable Vaporizers of 2020 Reviewed

If you're seeking the very best mobile dry herb vaporizer, you're in the right place! We've tested hundreds of distinct portable vaporizers and down them to 10.

2021 has now begun and we're looking forward to the releases that come out this year. Nothing big has been published yet but we'll certainly update this page when we see anything exciting come out!

Mighty

Even though the Mighty has been available for almost four years now it succeeds as the best mobile dry herb vaporizer. Its vapor quality is on par with higher end desktop vaporizers that's actually saying something. The pulls are smooth and flavorful which is exactly what you're looking for in a fantastic mobile vaporizer.

Not only is that the vapor quality great, but it's super easy to use.  There is a screen on the unit with simple up and down controls to the temperature. It also has a built-in safety feature which automatically turns it off in case you forget.

They also constructed in grating across the side which cools down the vapor (which is significant since it's on your hands ).

The Mighty had among the very best battery lives of any portable but it was updated in 2018 with 20 percent more battery life. That means you can use it for nearly two hours without plugging in that could last you a weekend or even longer. In addition, it includes pass through charging that means that you may use it while it's plugged . This comes in handy when you

While it might not be as portable as other possibilities, it does not have to be. It's small enough to take on trips and is the perfect size for at home use. The Mighty is an investment that will pay off in the long run.

Unsure which vaporizer is right for you?

We'll also give you a 5% voucher in the end of the quiz. It just takes 30 minutes! You have nothing to lose.

2. Arizer Solo 2

The Arizer Solo 2 is the follow up to the most famous Solo. Arizer is a world renowned brand for a reason: they make leading dry herb vaporizers that work well for a reasonable price.

The main reason the Solo 2 comes in second is due to its remarkable battery life.   That is most likely the greatest battery life of any portable vaporizer you may locate in 2021.

Not only is that the battery life stellar, but also the vapor quality is wonderful. The vapor itself stays cool on account of the very long glass atmosphere path.

Don't worry if you are in a rush too! The Arizer Solo 2 heats up in around 20 minutes that means that you can go from dry herb to vapor very quickly.  The electronic controls are sleek and easy to use.

The same as the Mighty, the Arizer Solo 2 isn't quite pocketable since it has a glass tube which you pull out of, but also the battery life and vapor quality more than make up for this. If you're looking for an awesome portable vaporizer at a fair cost, definitely consider the Solo 2.

We also didn't include the Arizer Air 2 in this listing but it warrants a mention. It's basically a bigger version of the Solo 2 having a battery life that is worse.

3.  Firefly 2+

When the original Firefly hit the marketplace it blew a great deal of people's heads. It's a convection herb vaporizer that heats up in a few minutes which has cool, thick vapor. There were a few complaints around the size, lack of temperature controller and battery life however.

They fixed up that in the second edition. The Firefly 2 is over 30% smaller, 50% Quicker, with innovative temperature controllers and contains a much improved battery life. Now you can pick from six temperature settings between 338° and 437° Fahrenheit which let's you receive the ideal vapor density. Just make certain that you have a smart phone because that is all controlled from the Firefly app!

Then they released an even bigger improvement on that Firefly 2 using the new Firefly 2+ (Plus). The most notable improvement is the charging and battery life. You can now charge to 80 percent in 20 minutes, which lets you wake up and running fast. The dock makes it effortless to remember to depart to charge also. Although the battery is modest, they have enlarged the entire life span through technology innovations and you might also substitute it on the go.

As it utilizes a convection heating system it provides some of the best vapor quality from any of the mobile vaporizers on this list. While you want to learn how to choose a lesser draw to utilize it correctly, it's not that hard to pick up and learn. The Firefly 2+ also warms up almost instantly--no waiting around for it to heat up.

Due to its design the Firefly 2+ is also super simple to wash and keep . It not only looks good, but it is functional. That is smart design!

4.

In addition to Volcano, Pax has become the face of vaporizers to get a little while ago. The first rendition had a distinctive, sleek design that really helped it stand out from the crowd. The Pax 3 looks even better with new matte colours and has some big improvements to boot.

The very best thing about the Pax 3 is likely it's size. You will find smaller vaporizers accessible, but Pax has really nailed it with all the perfect size for actions. It weighs only 93 g  which is pretty insane for all the technologies they pack into it.

It uses eyebrow sensing technology to inform when you're using it, so it can heat up the room which is super dope.  The vapor that you pull from the unit is surprisingly good too! It does run on a conduction oven which will not deliver the subtle flavors of a convection vaporizer, however, that will not matter for the majority of people.

They've also improved the battery life with the Pax 3.  You can use it for around an hour an a half before having to recharge. Even charging is cool using the Pax 3 with the charging dock. You can tell that many of engineering went in to it.

5.

Healthy Rips entered the fray a couple of years ago with the Fury vaporizer. They promised to provide food-grade air avenues which use convection technologies to warm the herb, and they've delivered. While their first two or three vaporizers were great, they have released a true winner at the Fury Edge.

The most notable part of the wholesome Rips Fury Edge is that it provides (mostly) convection in a small package. Until that point if you wanted a mobile vaporizer that fits in your pocket, you're probably using conduction. While there is nothing wrong with conduction, convection is generally more efficient and delivers better flavour.

They have also packaged a 2300 mAh battery in to the Fury Edge that's a really good battery. Our main complaint with the Fury two was that it was not truly portable because the battery was so small (and not replaceable). That's mended and the Fury Edge runs for more than one hour in use that's fantastic. Also, but they've implemented USB-C charging. It charges quickly and USB-C does not wear out like a miniature USB.

Last but not least, one of the principal reasons why the Fury Edge is nearing the top of our list is due to the purchase price. Sure, the Mighty and Ghost MV1 have significantly less draw resistance and also have greater flavour, but they're double the cost . If you're searching for an affordable, portable, unit you should check out the Fury Edge.

P. S. The Healthy Rips Fury Edge also provides you many different attachments you can use. If you want to throw it into your pocket there's a plastic mouthpiece, or you may use a glass while at home - totally up to you.

6. Crafty+

The Crafty+ is your nimble little brother of this Mighty that's sitting up at the #1 place. Depending who you talk to, and what you're searching for, the Crafty+ can choose the best place  as the most effective portable vaporizer.

It's cheaper and smaller than the Mighty that is fantastic, however there are a few drawbacks. It does not have an integrated screen which means that you have to control the temperature settings from the program connected to a smart phone (which may be impossible because Apple banned vape apps). Also the vapor it produces is not as cool as the Mighty.

It gives you nearly 90 minutes of vaporizing off of single charge. And it also features pass-through charging so that you can use it while it's plugged .

In case you're looking for a true mobile unit though you'll need the Crafty+ within the Mighty. It weighs in at only around 135g which makes it discreet and can easily fit in your pocket. The Crafty+ is built tough too which means that you don't really have to think about it rattling around a bit.

Exactly enjoy all Volcano goods, it has amazing vapor quality. It's a hybrid convection heating system which is impressive for a vaporizer of this size.

7. furna vaporizer IQ/MIQRO

Davinci has been making vaporizers for more than five years now. They started off using the first Davinci Vaporizer and followed it up with all the strong David Ascent. Their third product is certainly their best portable vaporizer yet.

Possibly the best thing about the Davinci IQ is your design--it simply looks downright sexy. It has a super slick design with a beautiful LED grid display. It looks like it may be an Apple device if they decided to dip their toes in the vaporizer marketplace.

Not only does it look great, but it performs good also. It delivers tasty vapor from its own ceramic heating chamber that's a conduction heating system. It also contains a'powder room' which lets you vaporize dry herbs without having to grind them up.

If you're searching for a true, pocketable, portable vaporizer you are in luck.  It only weighs around 145 g that's tiny compared to many other portable units. You may easily throw it into your pocket with your cell phone.

The battery is only going to last about an hour of use, however, so be wary. The batteries are replaceable so think about picking an additional one up if you're going with the Davinci IQ.

While the battery lasts just a tiny bit less compared to the IQ, it is an wonderful small conduction vaporizer. If you want a little unit to throw in your pocket, you should definitely take a look at the MIQRO.

Davinci published the IQ2 at 2020. It features new airflow controller which let's you change the quantity of air intake on the move. Also it has on-demand dosage technology which permits you to track precisely how much you've vaporized (only works via the app which is currently unavailable on Apple apparatus ).

8.

It is Arizer's first really portable vaporizer because the mouthpiece retracts back into the unit. All of Arizer's'portable' vaporizers have glass bits which means you can not throw them in your pocket or bag--that is not the case with the ArGo.

Although it's small Arizer hasn't cut corners on their build quality also. This vaporizer feels sturdy and does not have the economical plastic quality that you get with other components.

It's a few of the vapor production of all of the tiny vaporizers (Pax, Starry). They have utilized their conduction/convection heating technology out of their Solo 2 and Air 2, and set it in a smaller package. It's a fairly quick heating time which will get you vaporizing in just under a minute.

Somehow Arizer also fit a full OLED display on to this little vaporizer too. It's possible to see battery temperature and life directly on the ArGo, you don't have to download another app or anything like that. We much prefer vaporizers who have screens since programs can be a bit gimmicky (and also Apple has banned vape related programs ).

The very best part of the ArGo must function as swappable batteries. You'll be able to purchase extras and throw them into your pocket on the go. Swappable batteries also extends the life span of your vaporizer as you don't need to simply toss it if the batteries weaken over time. That is a big bonus!

9.

The XMAX Starry is your cheapest vaporizer on this list, but it doesn't function like the cheapest. It's an awesome little vaporizer that is ideal for novices searching for a starter, or veterans searching for a super portable unit.

The XMAX Starry is the best size to be taken from the house on an adventure. It weighs around 120 g which is in the lower end of almost any mobile vaporizers you find.  It's easy to throw in your pocket and fits perfectly in the clasp of your hand.  Just be careful because the mouthpiece can get hot after prolonged usage.

It heats up fairly quickly in about 20-30 seconds. The XMAX Starry supplies a complete array of temperatures to choose from the OLED display. It is possible to play around and find the ideal setting.

The V3 has an improved battery life which permits you to use it for about 80 minutes of usage. The batteries are also replaceable, so you may keep extras with you for longer excursions. They've also added a larger bowl and fresh mouth piece that are definitely nice to have also!

10.  Boundless CF/CFX

Boundless has released a few cheap products which have taken the dry herb vaporizer planet by storm.  The CF/CFX are essentially a poor man's Crafty/Mighty: they're hybrid convection, they look similar and they have similar sizes. Considering they're half the price of the Volcano counterparts--the CF/CFX are fairly impressive.

It is a comparatively small dimensions and contains five different temperature settings. The battery is non-replaceable and will last you around 50 minutes of usage.

It's bulkier, but features a wonderful OLED screen which enables you to pick your exact temperature.

What really sets both of these vaporizers apart from the crowd is that their vapor quality. They have the best vapor of any inexpensive vaporizer available at the moment. It is not quite on par with all the very best, but it is definitely better than most. If learn what is vaporizer beginning with vaporizing, or can not afford a more expensive unit, you will not be disappointed with either the Boundless CF or CFX.
